Larry Chappell Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Larry Chappell in Richfield, Utah. Larry, born on May 7, 1937, passed away on October 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Larry for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Grant and Margaret Caroline Peterson Chappell; and his siblings, Margaret Jean, Calvin Jay and Eddie Grant.
He is survived by: his children, Mona Kae (Jeffrey Leiber) of Shawnee, Kansas, Dianna Jean of Harrisville and James Wade (Tamra Branch Chappell) of Palmetto, Florida; and his sister Phyllis Ann (C. H. Robinson). He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lyman LDS Ward Chapel (179 South Ctr, Lyman, UT 84749). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
