He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul "Bus" Carroll and Louise Carroll; his brother George Lee Carroll; and his in-laws, Rex and Mary Ann Larsen.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Renee Larsen; and his children, Ann Gleave (Russel), Renee Dalton, Melina Murdock (Michael), Holly Harward (Kelly), Tracie Shumway (Clay) and Paul Bart Carroll (Ivy). He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
