We announce the death of Geraldine Johnson Sorensen (River Heights, Utah), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 93. Geraldine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Millie Marie Stucki and Leonard Gustave Johnson (Marie Johnson); her siblings-in-law, Carol Sorensen, Vivian Garrett (Paul), Bud Breillatt and Gerald Sorensen; her son-in-law Bret Hancey; her grandchildren, Morgan Gubler and Stephanie Shaw; and her great grandchild Bryce Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth; her children, Marci Shaw (Duane), Bruce Sorensen, Gregg Sorensen (Lucy), Debbie Hancey (Bret), Yvonne Jorgensen (Dave), Eric Sorensen (Kimberly), Brett Sorensen (Tami) and ReNae Cunningham (Neal); and her sister Faye Sowards (Gary). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Church (800 S 600 E, River Heights, UT 84321).
