He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva Mae Shaffer and Leo Sylvin Godfrey; his parents-in-law, John A and Roma Bourne; and his sister Liola Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bourne; and his children, Barb Larson (Anthony), Jay Godfrey (Meghan), John Godfrey, Jess Godfrey (Jennae), Jim Godfrey (Amanda) and Deb Carrillo (Jeison).
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Belmont/ Plymouth LDS Chapel (16925 N 5200 W, Garland, UT 84312). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Church's missionary fund.
