He was predeceased by: his father Richard Haaften. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Van Haaften; his wife Christy Hubbard; and his siblings, Jennifer Longshaw (Matt), Marty Van Haaften (Pua), Juliana Hobert (Dave) and Andrew Van Haaften (Melinda). He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and 2 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
