She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Janet Richens and Melvin Winn Ellis; her husband Genghis Deguzman; her children, Jeffrey Thornton (Brandi), Stephanie Brereton (TJ), Jennifer Watts, Laura Satison (Tony) and Josh DeGuzman; and her siblings, Mitch Ellis (Juene), Randy Ellis (Deena), Lisa Simon (Jay), Russ Kakala (Tara), Troy Johnson (Carrie), Seanoa Lavatai (Janet) and Melanie Witkamp (Dirk). She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peel Funeral Home (8525 W Magna Main St, Magna, UT 84044). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 3180 Elmwood Dr, Riverton, UT 84065.
