She was predeceased by: her parents, Muril Anthony and Lottie Elizbeth Palmer Bodell; her husband Mel A. Kussatz; her siblings, Lola Nell (Chick), Ron Bodell (Marge), May Butterfield (Merrill), Kenneth K. Bodell, Kim J. Bodell and Coleen Parry (Everett); and her great grandchildren, Richard Brayden Snyder and Brooklynn Dani Evans.
She is survived by: her brother Chuck Bodell (Diane); her sister-in-law Donna Bodell; and her sibling's children, Brad Beckstead (Sheila), Danny Beckstead, Lisa Butterfield and Brenda Barnes (Branden). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
