He was predeceased by : his parents, Taueu Misa and Mele Pa'ala Misa; his siblings, Ferila Siose, Fa'atiga Misa, Laki Taueu (Taueu), Kiva Misa, Lily Siofele and Peni Misa; and his son Jeff Misa.

He is survived by : his wife Tolu Fa'alogo Misa; his children, James Misa, Felila Misa Toleafoa, Ralph Misa, Melvin Misa and Katherina Fifita; and his siblings, Naomi Enesi and Mose Taueu.
