He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Thaxton and Louise Thaxton (Lloyd); his brother Bart; his daughter Maryann; and his grandchildren, Dan Jr. and Isabella.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Curtis; and his children, Tammy (Ben Shaw), Lisa (Brett Christensen), Dan Melissa (Carolee Christiansen) and Stacey (Scott Henrie). He is also survived by children, 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to your local VA hospital in honor of Ted's service and dedication to fellow veterans.
