She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Elijah Martin and Geraldine Chavis; her husband Pete Pedersen; and her son Greg Staib. She is survived by: her daughter Helen Cashon; her son-in-law Earl of Statesboro, Georgia.; her former husband Warner Cowell Staib; her granddaughter Karen; her children, Chuck Staib (Maggie) of St. George, UT, Karen Geertsen of Herriman, UT and Chris Staib (Mindy) of South Jordan, UT; and her daughter-in-law Katie Staib (Greg) of Neeses, SC.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many beloved extended family.
Viewing will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the LDS Ward (9353 Vista West Dr, West Jordan, UT 84088).
