He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ross and Kenna Ross; his siblings, Arlo Ross and Mary Jean Steinaker; his son Sonny J Ross; and his grandson Paul L Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Iona Fay Dunsmore; his children, Chelli Rich (Lynn), Bryan of Neola and Bubba (Julie) of Roosevelt; his sisters, Julene Hamburg (Burke), Marlene Tanner and Kathy Bezzant (Kevin); and his brother-in-law Randy Steinaker.
