He was predeceased by: his father Donald Clark. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Faye Ashby; his wife Karen Oldroyd; his children, Austin Ashby (Payton), Aaron Ashby (Shelby), Tate Ashby, Nick Ashby (Jessica) and Isabelle Ashby; his siblings, Gar Ashby (Michelle), Rett Ashby (Pauline), Amy Peterson (Jeff) and Don Ashby (Erica); and his close friend Kari Nelson.
He received special thanks from the United States Department of Defense for his contributions to military morale.
