We announce the death of Carolyn Sommers Craynor (Roy, Utah), who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 85. Carolyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Sommers and Wanda Sommers. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Burton Craynor; her close friend Dennis; her children, Kirt Craynor (Theresa) of Layton, Cindy Bigler (Clair) of American Fork, Kipp Craynor (Stacy) of Taylor and Cody Craynor (Emily) of Layton; her sister Raelene Critchlow; her siblings-in-law, Bill Craynor (Diana), Mike Craynor (DJ) and Carolyn Sommers (Orem); her grandchildren, Kalin (Laurel), Riley, Shelby (Vanessa), Adam (Allie), Kevin (Sophie), Brian, Shante (Ethan), Tyler (Jayden), Mikey, McKenzie and Caylee; and her great grandchildren, Eisley, Juno, Blakely, Lennon, Watson, Hayden, Byron, Braxton and Remington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

For nearly 50 years, she was an active part of its community events, annual Christmas luncheons, and charity work throughout the Ogden area.
