He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Farr and Leola Farr; his wife Linda Farr; his son-in-law Brent Christensen; his siblings, Kenneth, Owen and Leola Jensen; and his grandchild Christian Merritt.

He is survived by: his significant other Linda Urry; and his children, David Farr Jr. (Tracey), Douglas Farr (Mateo), Heidi Christensen and Holly Merritt (Trent).
