It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Eva Read (Roy, Utah), born in Ogden, Utah, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Lorenzo Peterson and Eva Green; her sisters, Helen Ruth Peterson, Margaret Untersinger and Gayle Billings; her eternal sweetheart Ronald J. Read; and her granddaughter Sarah Marie Read.
She is survived by: her close friend Ronald J. Read; her children, Dale Read (Joyce), Brent Read (Brenda), Marilyn Tubbs (Joel), David Read (Jill) and C. J. Read (Sherrie); and her siblings, John Peterson, Bessie Peterson and Cathryn Smith. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren.
