He is survived by : his wife Joan Jaramillo; his children, Richard Halling (Wendy) and Jackie Empey (Jason); his niece Roxanne; and his nephew Richard Palmer (Itchy). He is also survived by two sisters, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
