She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Tilley Rees and Calvin C. Rees; her brother Denton C. Rees; and her sibling's children, Rachael Tyler, Christine Rees and Weston Eldon Rees.

She is survived by: her siblings, Lawana Tyler, Almaire Diach, Starla Rees, Marnae Hoxer and Brandon Rees. She is also survived by her grandchildren, her great grandchildren.
