He was predeceased by: his father Alton J. Mathie; and his uncle Per Ophuus Evensen. He is survived by: his mother Norma Helen Hardy Mathie (Hardy); his wife Kimberly Mathie (Carroll); his daughter Brooke Hope Mathie; his aunt Barbara Evensen (Hardy); and his uncle Lynn Mathie.
