He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Jean Goss; his children, Leslie Douglas (Marty), Kent Briggs (Shelby), Dixie Briggs (Beth) and Chadd Briggs; his stepchildren, Brian Painter (Toni) and Lisa Olson (Lance); his grandchildren, Azure Briggs, Talon Briggs, Dani Painter, Andy Painter, Josh Swan and Emma Nickolas (Jordan); his siblings, Dawn Hardy (Lary) and Roger Briggs (Margie); and his brothers-in-law, Jim Workman and Billy Goss.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Premier Funeral Service (Roy) (5335 1950 W St, Roy, UT 84067). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
