He is survived by : his children, Shawn (Diana) and Andrea (Adrian); his daughter-in-law Jennifer; and his grandsons, Ethan, Keaton and Liam.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McDougal Funeral Home (4330 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Taylorsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Research Center (ADRC) at Utah State University.
