He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph D. Coombs and Helen M. Kreiger Coombs; his wife Pauline Steed; and his siblings, Gary Coombs, Ronald Duane Coombs and Sandra Matier.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Bennett, Charyl Jackson (Steven), Cindy Ross (Robert), David Coombs (Necha), Shelly Ripplinger (Randall) and Debbie Livingston (Mark). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
