She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Mikkelsen and Cevela Jones Mikkelsen; her husband Bob; her grandchildren, Nathan Ward and Tiffany Perkins; and her sisters, Carol Barton and Karen Turner.

She is survived by: her children, Bryce (Stephanie), Carla Steed (Scott), Roy, Denise Perkins (Brent), Courtney (Joei), Dixie Stettler (Carl), Aaron (Hannah) and Lance (Sarah); her siblings, Jay Mikkelsen (Debbie) and Maralyn Stratton (Myron) of Quincy, IL.; and her friends, Ward, Carol, Shelby and Dee of Inspiration Hospice. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 21 2/3 great-grandchildren.
