As Abbie departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Abbie. Though Abbie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Wood Wightman and Grace Roseltha Adams; her grandmother Abbie Wood; her husband Charles Henry Cook Wyler; and her brother Dell Wightman.
She is survived by: her sister Joy James; and her daughter Pam. She is also survived by numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hughes Mortuary (1037 E 700 S, St. George, UT 84790). A burial was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at the Isaac Carling Memorial Park. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Peacan Valley Complex.
