It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blaine Grant of Saint George, Utah, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Grant and LaVon Grant; his wife LouGene; and his siblings, JoAnn Houtz, Bob Grant and Gale Grant.

He is survived by: his daughters, Patti Dawes (late Les), Kathy Knorr (Steve), Laurie Rufener (Bob) and Barbi Grant (Sammy Pacheco); his grandchildren, Amber Knorr, Mindy Dawes, Casey Knorr (Melanee), Kollett Christensen (Norm), Johnnie Dawes (Liz), Jason Shauan and Matt Shauan (Cali); and his friend Elaine Larson. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

“I am so sorry to hear about Blaine’s passing. I just found out today and had I known, I would have been at Larkin on Saturday to pay my respects to the family. I have many good memories of Grant family activities during the summers when we were all kids at Uncle Owen and Aunt LaVon’s house or at Aunt Helen and Uncle Hiett’s. So very sorry for your loss.
