He is survived by: his mother Melva Gifford Rasmussen; his wife Mary; his children, Jeffery, Jennifer Burgi, Joseph and James; his granddaughters, Layne Mary Burgi and Brooklyn Ann Burgi; his sister Myrlene Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Mark Swan and Brian Smith.
