He was predeceased by: his father Robert Knauf. He is survived by: his mother Sonja Knauf (Boose) of Oxford, MI; his wife Meg (Beardsley) of Washington, Utah; his sons, Josef (Nina) of West Bloomfield, Michigan, Samuel (Alex) of Oxford, Michigan and Thomas; and his brother Lee (Pam) of Oxford, Michigan. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew.
