He is survived by: his father Edward Andrew Nelson; his wife Pennie Nelson; and his children, Troy Nelson (Lydia), Angela Sherrill, Dona Ross (Andrew), Deana Hinchcliff (Lora), Lisa Watson (James), David Hale (KayLynn) and Rashell Nicholson (Nick). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
