He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Opfer; his parents, Anna and Arthur; and his sisters, Carol and Rosemary.
He is survived by: his children, Debra of Dayton, Pam of St. George, Pat, Dan of St. George and Bernard of Columbus, Ohio.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
