Douglas Reed Metcalf. born April 26, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on September 22, 2020, in Saint George, Utah from severe injuries sustained a vehicular collision. He was predeceased by : his parents, Reed Metcalf and Barbara Metcalf. He is survived by : his close friend Nancy Hellewell Metcalf of St. George, UT; his children, Courtney Evans (Cade) of Bountiful, UT, Wyatt Metcalf (Tatiana) and Kelsey Garrett (Jon) of Glendale, CA.; his grandchildren, Connor, Hunter, Audrey, Sebastian, Sadie, Callahan, Fritz, Tennyson and Victoria; his aunts, Margie Matich and Barbara Bown; and his siblings, Marilyn "Lyn", Roger, Janice and Vicki.

Hunter would nickname him "The Homie" since he was very special to him and would text him every Saturday mostly about the foreign countries he's been to and Hunter was saving up for Douglas and him to spend two weeks together in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for Summer 2025.

A couple of months ago I would text him every Saturday mainly about the countries he’s been to and that was my favorite Saturday activity I ever did on my phone is chat with him and other fun things. I was saving up for him and I to spend 2 weeks together in Tehran, Iran in Summer 2025.”
