He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elroy "Roy" Pectol and Gladys Iverson; his wife Eleanor Condie; and his siblings, Gene Pectol, Nadine Sherratt, Colleen Tiernan, Jack Pectol, Janice Bonner, David Leary and Rulon "Rudy" Iverson.
He is survived by: his children, Gladys Hamilton, Eddie Pectol (Peggy), Randy Pectol (Sherry) and Polly Bottema (Paul); and his siblings, Jim Pectol (Carolyn), Patsy Theobald (Ron), Doug Pectol (Leslie), Bill Pectol (Teri), Richard Pectol, Duane Leary and Ray Leary (Jeri). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
