It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred W. Jones of Saint George, Utah, born in Murray, Utah, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Lynn Jones and Opal Swallow; his wife Linda Allred Jones; his brother Gordon; and his sister-in-law Sharon Jones.

He is survived by: his children, Kristy Soffe (Ted) and Jesica Taylor (Ryan); his grandchildren, Cole (Tova), Carter Taylor, Meg Soffe Brasher (Kade) and Carson Soffe; his stepgrandchildren, James, Ella, Henry Bennett, Abigail, Miriam and Ethan Howell; his stepchildren, Megan Bennett (Michael), Rachel Howell (Jordan), Robert Howell and Lauren Howell; and his siblings, Janice Pehrson (Larry) and Mark Jones (Karen). He is also survived by his family and friends and was daily teaching his children and grandchildren.
