As Hazel departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Hazel may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Hazel leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Swen Lafever and Maggie Lafever; her husband Jack Gilson Sr.; and her son Jack Gilson Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Louise Lough (Al), Frank Gilson (Debbie) and Clyde Gilson (Johnna). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home (2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, ID 83301).
