We bid farewell to Helen Rider Avery in Saint George, Utah, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 18, 2025 at the age of 97. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ellis Latt and Maude Latt (Jones); her husbands, Robert Rider and Charles Avery; and her siblings, Cecilia Latt, Margaret Urtz (Paul), Charles Latt (Dorothy) and Fred Latt (Cathy).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Rider of Central, Nancy Burke (Daniel) of West Winfield, Richard Rider of Northville, NY and Paul Rider (Nancy) of Foley, Alabama; her stepson Peter Avery of Albany; her grandchildren, Melissa (Vic), Gregory, Samuel, Rebecca and Timothy; and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Brendan, Dillon, Karlton and Zachary. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home (4309 Acme Rd, Ilion, NY 13357). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
