He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence LaClare and Beulah LaClare; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Connie Rae Christiansen LaClare; his sons, Michael (Lauren) of Gilbert and Jon (Julie) of Castle Rock, Colorado; and his brother Charlie. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, those attending the funeral consider making a small donation towards the funeral costs to help them honor the loss of Jim, in accordance with his wishes.
