It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Stearns (Saint George, Utah), born in Sacramento, California, who passed away on July 9, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Peter and Laura Elizabeth Hill Stearns; his daughter Charline Earwood; and his siblings, Jessie, Tom and Leonard.
He is survived by: his former spouse Beverly Rae Fristoe; his wife Barbara Jean Loud; his children, Jimmy (Nicole) of St. George and Jamie Stearns of Longwood, WA; his adoptive children, Nola Jean Stearns of St. George, Mark Stearns of Nevada and Amy Stearns of Longview, WA; his stepchildren, Michael Jackson, Vickie Good and Scott Jackson; and his siblings, Louise Little of Empire, CA, Betty Johnson of Washington State, David Stearns of Empire, CA and Ben Stearns (Coby) of Modesto, CA.
