She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood LeRoy Carter and Jennie Margaret Wood Carter; her brother Gary; and her daughter-in-law Elise Bunker James. She is survived by: her husband Armond James; and her children, Stephen James, Sharon Done (Steve) and Gary James (Tari). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and 37 great-great-grandchildren.
