He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Horton and Lorraine Horton. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Stefanie (Randy), Camille (Sean) and Mike (Lori); and his grandchildren, Tason (Allie), Tayosha (Billie Jay), Traxten (Kesley), Rayden, Levi and Hunter.
He receive the silver beaver award for his contribution to the scouting program.
