He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Lowney and Johannah Lowney; his daughter Dr. Beatrice Ann Kunka (Scott); his grandson Peter Joseph Lowney; and his siblings, William Lowney, Mary Frances Wilcox, Ann Nestor and Patricia Miceli.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Lowney of St George, UT; and his children, John Patrick Lowney (Constance) of West Chester, PA and Carol Mary Cogan (Paul) of Rocklin, CA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
