We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, at the age of 73, Laurie Kaye Nielsen Beardall of Saint George, Utah passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stan Nielsen and Lois Nielsen; and her sisters, Julie Skousen and Shirley Baltzer. She is survived by: her significant other Larry; her children, Troy, Pepper (Marc), Quinn (Kelli) and Shelley (Zach); her siblings, Nancy Boswell (late John), Peggy Atwood (Elwin) and Gifford Nielsen (Wendy); and her brothers-in-law, Fred Skousen and Tom Baltzer. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2535 Newcastle Dr, Sandy, UT 84093). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery (1997 S 400 E St, Springville, UT 84663).
