Lorin Peter Nielsen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorin Peter Nielsen in Saint George, Utah, who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Peter Nielsen and Eleanor June MacKay Nielsen; his brother Elden; and his granddaughters, Rachel and Sarah Abbott.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rose Nielsen; his children, Kirstin Nielsen Abbott (Nelson), Erika Nielsen (Doug Robbins), LaDena Saxey Ford (Jerry), Jeramy Egan (Cheryl) and Christopher Egan (Mary); and his brother Kent Nielsen (June). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Habitat for Humanity.
