He is survived by: his parents, Derrick Donald Esplin and Andrea Stacy Esplin; his siblings, Colin, Olivia and Jemma; his grandparents, Larry, Nancy Esplin of LaVerkin, UT, Eric and Tamye McGarry of Yakima, WA; and his great-grandparents, Ruth Esplin, Jane McGarry of Auburn, WA, Dave and Mary Knapp of Graham, WA.
When he filled out the paperwork for his driver's license, he marked "yes" to organ donation.
