It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlene Sanford Daley (Saint George, Utah), who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle J. Sanford and Gladys Marie Taylor; her husband Leo Daley; her son Steven Elmer (Vickie Bills Elmer); her children-in-law, Lloyd Jackson and Julia Schaugaard Daley; her granddaughter Keira Merlene Nielsen; and her siblings, Richard T. Sanford and Lorraine Sanford Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Elmer Canfield (Fred Dumas) of Ivins, Karie Lynn Daley Jackson of Tooele and Alan Leo Daley of Kanab, Utah; her grandchildren, Mathew Jackson (Melanie), Emily Spendlove (Russell), Blake Jackson (Gina) and Mark Jackson (Shelly); and her sister Nancy Greenhalgh (Bob). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
