He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Duke and Jennie Olivene Duke (Brown); his siblings, Lyman, Burt, Richard, Olivene, Marjorie and Jean; his parents-in-law, Richard Ariel and Elisabeth Anne Manwaring; and his sister-in-law Diane Manwaring.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lynne Manwaring; his children, Lynnae Christensen (Arlen), Debbie Cornell (Greg), David Lyman Duke (Susan) and Richard Chris Duke (Beccie); his sister Merilyn McGuire (Fay); and his brother-in-law Don Snow. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 46 great grandchildren.
