He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schafer Jr. and Dorothy Schafer; his son Ryan; and his grandson Tyler Steen. He is survived by: his wife Renee Schafer; and his daughters, Chalet Whitaker Kirsten (Mike) and Lindsay Sexton (Rob).
