He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Hopkin and Bessie J. Hopkin; his daughter Melissa Kathleen Hopkin; his wives, Kathleen Margaret Hopkin and Linda Diane Hopkin; and his brother William Charles Hopkin.
He is survived by: his children, Bob and J. D.; his pets, Dakota and Star; his sons, Robert Calton Hopkin and Dylan Hopkin; his sister-in-law Linda Ritter; and his siblings, E. J. and Bessie L. Barney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
