He was predeceased by: his parents, Niles Reid and Mary Reese Reid; his daughter Arlene; and his stepson Gary. He is survived by: his former spouse Ardith Roche; his daughter Arleen; his wife Nancy Shaffer; his sister Pat Mayer (Steve); his daughters, Patti Irvin (Dennis), Carol Parker (Bob) and Kris Douglas (Kenny); and his stepchildren, Lisa Provstgaard (Kent), Jeff Cox (Raquel), Durae Cox (Cindy) and Shelley Hurst (Ted). He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
