He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Raymond Sewell and Hazel Hall Sewell; his brothers, Wally and Glenn; and his daughter Jenifer Hess-Sewell.
He is survived by: his former wife Sherry Harwood; his wife Charlene Stafford; his siblings, Kathy Sewell Wallberg and Ben Sewell; his stepsons, Travis Stafford (Jen) of St. George and Eric Stafford (Jenny) of West Valley; and his grandchildren, Dylan Stafford, Henry Stafford, Natalie Kate Hinton (Drake), Claire Nisson (David), George Stafford and Derek Hinton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
