With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Wheeler (Salem, Utah), born in Preston, Idaho, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on July 27, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leslie and Marie Merrill; his parents, James Herbert Wheeler and Venus Merrill Wheeler; and his sisters, JoEllen Wright (Ray) and Janet Evans (Craig).
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Wheeler, Stephen Wheeler, Michael Wheeler, David Wheeler, Peggy Neuens of Washington, UT and Karen Allred of Twin Falls, ID.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Salem Third Ward (695 S 300 W, Salem, UT 84653). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery (550 N 100 W, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062).
