It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dent G. Sorensen of Salina, Utah, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Dean and Hazel Berniece Okerlund Sorensen; and his brothers, Bry Sorensen (Smokey) and Nard Sorensen. He is survived by: his significant other Valeen Olsen; his children, Dana Rae Sorensen of Salina, Craig of Salina, Wendy Sorensen of Salina, Denene of Salina, David Torgenson of Salina and Eddie Sorensen of Cedar Hills; his brother Ted (Linda Sorensen); and his sisters-in-law, Louie Sorensen and Pat Sorensen Williams of Beaver Dam, Arizona.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
