He was predeceased by: his parents, Derrald Mickelson and Beverly Bown Mickelson; his wife Fran Mickelson; his parents-in-law, Pericson and Tola Peterson; his sister Karma Haacke; and his brothers-in-law, Barry Peterson and Kim Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Brady Mickelson (Suzette) of Centerfield, Mindi Taylor (Earl) of Salina, Lesty Munk (Jeff) of Salina, Ashlee Larsen (Kris) of Salina, Tyler Mickelson (Brooke) of Discovery Bay, California and Jorgen Mickelson (Anastasia) of Salina; his sisters, Karen Lamkey (Joe) and Pam O'Neil (Michael); and his sister-in-law Kola Peterson. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren.
